Hackdoze 1.0
- Hacdoze 1.0 is organized by Telecommunication and Networking Cirlcle and Software Circle of Electrical and Information Engineering (EIES), Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna.
- Hackdoze is going to be inaugurated first time in 2021. The whole event will be conducted via online. Therefore, it can be remarked as a new dimension to the faculty competitions.
- Freshers of any university are welcome to participate in workshop series and compete in Hackathon. Competition rules and time limits will be notified to the participants in due course.

Rules
Rules and regulations
* Only registered participants will be able to join the Workshop series as well as final Hackathon.
* A weekly task will be given for the participants to be submitted within 2-3 days after each workshop (further details will be given during each workshop).Those tasks will be given through the content in each workshop.
* It is mandatory to complete all the weekly tasks to participate for the Hackathon.
* Weekly tasks are scored and top scores will be displayed in a leaderboard.
* Hackathon will be conducted as an individual coding challenge for 4 hours hosting through HackerRank.
* Participants will be given assistance to familiarize with HackerRank via the workshop series.
* Registrations for the Hackathon will be announced after the completion of the workshop series.Registerd participants who have sit for A/L s at 2020 will be eligible for the Hackathon.
* All the participants who complete weekly tasks and competes at the Hackathon will be given valuable certificates and the Top 10 rankers will be awarded valuable prizes.
* 25% from the total scores for all weekly tasks will be added to scores earned at the Hackathon.
* The 4 requirements that should be fulfilled to participate the Hackathon.
- should be a student who sat for A/L s at 2020
- Should register for the Hackathon
- Should have an attendance of 80% or above for the workshop serie(should participate minimum 4 workshops)
- Should complete all the weekly tasks
* Participants who have participated minimum 4 workshops or earns 80% attendance or above for the workshop series(including introductory session+4 python sessions) and completes all the weekly will only be eligible for the Hackathon.
Terms & conditions for the competitors
> Every competitor should join the zoom session before the Hackathon and should confirm their prescence.Further instructions and guidelines will be provided at there.
> Competitors need to make sure they are competing their own and if any dishonesty or cheat found they will be disqualified.
> The decision of the Judgeboard will be the final.
> Any responsibility could not be taken by the Judgeboard or OC over hardware failures,power failures and connection losses happen during the competition.
> Every competitor should join the zoom session before the Hackathon and should confirm their prescence.Further instructions and guidelines will be provided at there.
> Competitors need to make sure they are competing their own and if any dishonesty or cheat found they will be disqualified.
